Description: The data set 'dauerfl' contains permanent observation plots that were established in 1951 right after the fire by the forest engineer and vegetation specialist Walter Trepp (1911-1992). He observed the plots regularly untill 1968. The data set dauerfl contains 10 localisation points of the original plot layout. Originally the following plots were established (see Scheurer 1986, p. 32): - 3 plots 20x20 m; only one with a marker ('verpflockt') - 2 plots 4x4 m, established within two of the large plots, - 9 plots 1x1 m, within reach of the larger plots, 6 are observed further. PLEASE NOTE: the data set 'dauerfl' only contains the 4x4m and 1x1m plots!
